tarrare was a guy from 18th century france with an insatiable appetite. like seriously, this dude could eat anything and everything. he would devour whole baskets of apples, live animals, and even ate a cat once! he had an endless stomach and could eat his weight in food. but here's the weird part - tarrare never seemed to gain weight. his metabolism must have been off the charts! he was also rumored to had eaten an ENTIRE baby and even part of a cadaver like what the fuck
but wait, it gets even crazier. tarrare's hunger led him to some bizarre situations. he once swallowed a box with a message in it and later pooped it out intact! he was also hired as a spy and would swallow secret documents, only to later regurgitate them for the authorities. talk about a unique skill set!
despite his incredible eating abilities, tarrare's life was not all fun and games. his strange condition caused him constant discomfort, and he suffered from terrible body odor. people couldn't stand to be around him because of the stench.
eventually, tarrare's strange life came to an end. he died at a young age, and even in death, his body did something bizarre - it decomposed rapidly and emitted a horrible smell
